 An island getaway is waiting for you less than 2 hours from Toronto. Your vacation starts with a 5 minute ferry ride on the "Spirit of the Loon" across Rice Lake, to an exclusive 25 acre island offering you tranquility and relaxation. We offer a private escape from life's hectic distractions.
Imagine, just good ole’ relaxation. Your island getaway allows you to unwind and truly connect with family, friends and nature. We invite you to enjoy peace and quiet while at the same time allowing you to reacquaint yourself with God's creation.
In the evening enjoy beautiful Rice Lake sunsets before you settle in for the night of stargazing around a warm campfire. We provide you with all the ingredients - it's up to you to cook up the memories!

Bring your own:
- Flashlight. One flashlight for every 2 persons
- Matches and newspaper / Extra toilet paper(we start you off with 2 rolls only) / paper towels
- Towels
- Sleeping bags and pillow cases
- Soap
- Additional foldup lawn chairs (if more then 4 persons)
- Fish knife
- Water shoes!
- Dish soap
- Scouring pads, dish clothes, tea towels
- coleman cookstove for fast morning coffee or other quick food items etc!
- Ice coolers. Block last so much longer! WE SELL ICE RIGHT AT THE FERRY DOCK.IT IS SPECIAL BLOCK AND CUBE ICE MADE FROM NATURAL SPRING WATER by the renown Mill Valley Ice company.
- Children's lifejackets an ABSOLUTE MUST!
- Fishing rods and tackle( if you are bringing kids,we recommend you bring rods, to land a fish is an awesome experience! ) ( you should get WORMS before arrival!!!!)
- Mountain bikes and helmets
- Camera for the awesome sunset / sunrise shots and all the terrific lake views, and loons and more!

- Bring your OWN egg cartoons for collecting freerange eggs @ the CHICKEN COOP! :)
- DRINKING WATER..we sell drinking water right @ the ferry dock.
- If you are interested in experiencing making HOMEMADE BREAD, find a recipe, bring all the ingredients ( ofcourse lots of butter is a must) and your own bread baking tins!!
