Bedding: sheets, pillowcases, blankets or sleeping bags & Bath towels *DO NOT BRING PILLOWS, take up too much space and they are provided in the cabins - Just bring pillow covers.


Toilet paper & personal toiletries including Hand sanitizers (you need one for outdoor toilet & for eating area)


Bring your OWN cutlery and dishware (except Eco Cabin #1 and #2 and Eco Loft has cutlery and dishware)


Bleach, dish detergent, dish cloth(s), scouring pad, tea towels & Large garbage bags


Compost pail for your compost to feed all the animals


Ice coolers for all your food and drinks (there are NO fridges) Ice is delivered daily.


Coleman Cooking Stove (there are NO stoves)


Battery Lanterns, flashlights, headlamps (no electricity ) ALL cabins have SOLAR lights only.


Note: all accommodations have solar mobile charging station; to charge your mobile devices. Note: Eco Loft is normal regular charging electrical plug. Other cabins require USB charging end.


Watershoes (always wear watershoes while swimming or boating)


Kids life jackets (it is LAW that you have your OWN fitted KID life jacket) We do provide adult life jackets but recommend if you have your own, bring it with you. YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN KIDS LIFE JACKETS it is THE LAW!


Matches or lighters and newspaper for starting campfires, etc


Badminton racquets, birdies and a volleyball, SAND TOYS.


Cash for Island treats: ice cream socials, ICE, misc. treats, bagged firewood, Moosetracks famous organic maple syrup made by the Captain TJ and family.


Misc Suggestions to also Bring:  Gloves for handling firewood, axe and/or swede saw if you know how to safely use one, tinfoil, paper plates, plastic cutlery and dishwares, egg cartons for picking fresh eggs, salt and pepper, cooking oil, all the stuff you need for making homemade bread and pizzas to use the Bread Oven and proper pans, fishing rods, tackle, bait and fish pail, extra lawn chairs for your extra persons.

Directions From Toronto - Follow Hwy 401 East to Cobourg (2nd Exit): Exit 474B


AS SOON AS YOU GET OFF HWY 401 TEXT 905-373-8448 so T.J. KNOWS YOU ARE 30 MINUTES AWAY. Tell me who you are!




Turn left on Halstead Road. After this turn you will see Cedar Bay Resort signs, (green & white) follow the signs all the way in to Cedar Bay Resort.


Directions without signs: After turn onto Halstead Road, left at stop sign onto 4th line, right turn on Campbell Road, left on 5th line, right on Cook Road, left onto Robins Road, left onto Rolling Banks Road, (NOW SLOW DOWN EVERYONE MISSES THIS NEXT RIGHT TURN AND THE 911 NUMBER 1A, SLOW DOWN OR YOU WILL MISS THE 1A SIGN and waste a lot of time turning around)


Pass 3 houses on your right, see 911 sign 1A,CONSTRUCTION ORANGE REFLECTIVE CONE, Cedar Bay Resort sign turn right, drive into ferry (SPIRIT OF THE LOON) area.


Park vehicle in front of "Spirit of the Loon" ferry loading area.


NOTE: you MAY see a lot of vehicles parked on the left side of road in a grass parking lot , do NOT park there yet; that is where a crew member will park you when you are done unloading all of your stuff onto ferry!


Remember this is a PEOPLE ferry ONLY, NO vehicles on ferry.
